Garden City Rescue Mission's Women and Children's Division opened its doors on January 9, 2007 .
|
|
 Each woman and child who comes for help will receive:
- A change of clothes.
- Any personal hygiene or basic first aid help needed.
- A shower with soap, shampoo, wash cloth and towel provided.
- A warm meal with dessert.

| The women attend either a chapel service or Bible study each evening. |
|
While the women are in Bible study the children are cared for by volunteers in our play room.
- Clean, safe bed for the night.
- Breakfast in the morning.
- Free bus tickets to go to work (Provided through us by United Way )
- GED classes that are held on site at the Mission (Hosted by Augusta Tech)
- Free out of town bus ticket if needed (Provided through us by United Way )
